Who We Are
About Us
Standing With Survivors. Pursuing Accountability.
Dedicated Legal Advocacy for Victims of Jeffrey Epstein and His Associates
Coming forward as a survivor of sexual assault is one of the hardest decisions a person can make. The trauma, the fear, the uncertainty about what justice even looks like — it’s a lot to carry, and most survivors carry it for a long time before they ever speak to anyone.
We represent survivors of sexual violence and abuse, including people who were victimized through the criminal network of Jeffrey Epstein and those connected to him. If you or someone you love was harmed, we want to hear from you. There is no judgment here, and no pressure. Just honest guidance from attorneys who have spent decades doing this work.
Our Founding Partner
Parisis G. (“Gerry”) Filippatos has represented survivors of sexual harassment, assault, and abuse for more than 30 years. Many of his clients have come to him after being harmed by people with significant wealth, influence, or institutional backing. That has never changed how hard he fights for them.
Before the Epstein case became national news, Gerry was already in courtrooms and arbitration proceedings across New York holding financial institutions, corporations, and executives accountable for the harm they caused to real people. Over the course of his career, he has personally led cases resulting in more than $70 million recovered for his clients. Those outcomes came from building cases carefully and refusing to accept inadequate settlements just because the other side had more resources.
He has represented hundreds of survivors of sexual violence over the years, and he understands what that process asks of people. It is not easy to revisit what happened, to answer questions, to trust that someone is genuinely in your corner. Gerry structures his representations with that in mind. The goal is always to reduce the burden on the client while building the strongest possible case.
Mr. Filippatos earned his J.D. from Boston College Law School and his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Columbia University. He is licensed in New York and Connecticut and is admitted to all four U.S. District Courts in New York, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, where a significant amount of Epstein-related litigation has taken place. His work has been covered by The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, CNBC, Reuters, and Forbes.
Why We Represent Epstein Survivors
What the Epstein case made visible was not new to survivors. Powerful men with money and connections can avoid accountability for a very long time, in part because the institutions around them often have more interest in protecting themselves than in protecting the people being harmed.
Epstein’s victims were targeted and assaulted across multiple states and countries over many years. Some tried to come forward and were not believed. Others stayed silent, for reasons that anyone who has been in that position will understand. Many are still figuring out what their options are, or whether they have any at all.
Civil claims against Epstein’s estate, his associates, and the institutions that enabled his behavior remain viable for many survivors, particularly under federal and state laws protecting victims of sex trafficking and sexual abuse. This is an area of law that has continued to develop, and we have followed it closely. We can advise you on what options may be available based on the specific facts of your situation, where the abuse occurred, and when. The conversation is confidential and there is no obligation to take any next step until you are ready.
How We Work
When you contact us, the first priority is simply to listen. We are not going to push you toward a particular outcome or tell you what you should do. We will explain what we know, answer your questions as honestly as we can, and give you a clear picture of where you stand legally. What you decide to do with that information is entirely up to you.
Everything discussed with our firm is confidential. For people who are not yet sure whether they want to pursue anything, an initial call is just a conversation. No fee, no commitment.
If you do decide to move forward, we take that responsibility seriously. Cases involving sexual assault are hard. They often involve well-funded opposition, complex facts, and a legal process that can feel adversarial even when it is working in your favor. We have handled enough of these cases to know what to expect and how to navigate it, and we are not the kind of firm that backs down when things get difficult.
We are truly driven to make a beneficial difference in the lives of our clients.
While every case is different, we at Filippatos PLLC firmly believe that every
client should be treated fundamentally the same—with fairness, dignity, and
respect.
